I use Monistat chafe relief powder gel as a primer and it works great at controlling oil, they’re whole lot cheaper and works just as well. Dimethicone is the main ingredient and a key for a primer.

I really like the product and the shipping was faster than I expected. The only problem is the squirt bottle the foundation primer comes in doesn’t work anymore. It did the first 2 times I used it but now I can’t get anything out of it. I didn’t do anything to it that would make that happen, it just sits on my dresser. I have to take the top off of the bottle in order to use it. The top isn’t locked or anything because I keep turning it and it still doesn’t work. But I know that’s not the seller’s fault since it worked when I first got it. I don’t understand what happened though. But anyway, it was a good product I love the way it makes my face feel nice and smooth. I’ve been getting a lot of acne lately which never really happens. I hope it isn’t from this stuff because the bottle says that it’s oil-free. I’m going to continue to use it. We’ll see what happens.

I’ve been trying this primer, and I’ve also used the Bare Escentuals primer. I saw no difference, so I tried using the primer on half my face, and no primer on the other half. I have seen absolutely no difference between the two sides. None. No difference in appearance of skin texture, no difference in how long my makeup lasts. None. Zero.
